A memorial stone of polished natural stone. An emblem is applied to the stone. The memorial is 1 meter 40 high, 70 centimeters wide and 12 centimeters deep.
Just outside the village center of Mastenbroek, in the direction of Zwolle, is this monument in memory of the crew of Lancaster PA986, who crashed near this place on 13 June 1944. The crew members who died were eventually buried in the general cemetery in IJsselmuiden. Sgt. T. Gribben was identified in 1992.
